Alcohol and Substance AbuseOur commitment to excellence is shown by providing a high quality of substance abuse services for Adults, and their families.
Our Mission of “Helping People Help Themselves,” is achieved by intervening as early as possible.
Programs are based on the belief that Alcoholism and Chemical Dependency are chronic, progressive diseases that affect emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. All programs are designed to integrate individual personality and needs with the12 step treatment philosophy. After completing a comprehensive clinical assessment an individual treatment plan is developed that addresses the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of each person. Intensive Outpatient Program provides intensive services to individuals who are experiencing moderate to severe symptoms of chemical dependency. These individuals have been diagnosed with chemical dependency or have been recently discharged from an inpatient program and need to continue therapeutic intervention. Hours are from 5:00 to 9:00 Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Saturday hours are 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Please contact Judy Carlson at (815)385-6400 ext. 207.

Our Goal – is to provide each adolescent with a comprehensive behavioral health assessment so we are able to individualize services to best fit the needs of the adolescent.
Services – Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessment, Family Therapy, Family Education Group, Group Therapy, Drug Screening, Medical or Psychiatric support and Individualized Treatment Plan.
Our Philosophy is that alcoholism and chemical dependence are chronic progressive diseases that effect emotional, physical and spiritual well-being. We believe that young people need to be educated on these risks and understand the need to commit to a chemical free life style.
Professional Staff – Our clinical team offers a multi disciplinary approach that includes psychiatrists, licensed clinical social workers, certified substance abuse counselors, and professional nursing staff, under the direction of the medical director. The entire teams works to provide caring support and professional expertise so that each individual can achieve and maintain sobriety in the least restrictive environment of care. For many, successful treatment does not require time lost from work or having to leave home.
